I have always been fascinated by haikus. At first glance, the lines seem too short to explain things; yet when you read them, they convey deep meaning. I love how, in a haiku, you have the opportunity of telling something that makes sense in brief. That being said, I was inspired to compose one. This post you are currently reading contains my first attempt at making a haiku. It’s on a 5-7-5 meter. I call it, “Losing Gravity”.
What I’m trying to point out thru “Losing Gravity” is how I easily get swallowed by the fog of procrastination; that instead of doing what I need to do, I end up doing something not in any way related to what I should be doing; exactly like what’s happening right now, being hell of a lot preoccupied writing this entry for my blog instead of reviewing my notes for our History exam tomorrow. (Hey wait, I already had my review of sorts a few hours ago after eating dinner! But still, I should be into reviewing right now, and not blogging.) Talk about procrastination to the highest level! I’m so evil, evil, evil! Mwahahah!
Well enough of that. Further explanation of the words will be given when someone asks me to do so. Let me know what you think of my first ever haiku, okay?

Losing gravity:
Strap thyself onto the ground
A black hole awaits.

Oh. My. Look at my HOROSCOPE!!!
Getting clutter out of the way in your day-to-day life will help you clear the clutter out of your brain too, so put some energy into cleaning up around your house and getting things organized today. Not only will you find it terrifically satisfying, it’s a task you can turn your mind off to do — you can give your gray matter a rest while you give your home a facelift. You will feel proud of the work you’ve done and you’ll feel ready to face life’s next challenges.
ROFL.

nakakatuwa
may natutunan kami e.
Wahaha! Thanks for commenting Lau.
“Losing gravity” means, how one ‘loses focus’ which is the main premise of procrastination. “Strap thyself onto the ground” means, how important it is that you keep grounded and stay focused on what you should be doing. “A black hole awaits” means, if you don’t focus now, you never will.
Hahaha. Exactly my point. Kaya nga gusto ko mabago yung habit of procrastinating ko. Nyahaha. Okay.
