Today’s the last day of January, and the second to the last day of the fifth week of twenty-oh-nine! Adhering to the iSpeak My LIFE! calendar, this means that we’re down to WEEK FIVE of Deeds on Paper.
I apologize for again being late with this issue ‘coz I’m dealing with a lot of stuff right now. You know, graduating! Hehe. Anyway, it’s still the fifth week of the year by all technical means! So before the this week’s officially over, let me share to you the fifth card that I managed to draw out of Pandora’s brown box. (I just used “Pandora” because I know how painful it is for you to deal with the “cutesy” label that I’ve been using since week one. Haha!)

I hate how dogs become when they grow up. I wish they never grow up. I wish they remain puppies for life! Hahaha. But since all living things grow up, then dogs have to deal with it too. Do you remember how your pet dog looked like when he/she was a puppy? Could you compare that to how he/she looks like now? How ’bout this…do you remember how you looked like when you were a baby? Could you compare that to how you look like right now? Well, can you see the difference? They’re not excused from growing up, and we’re not excused as well! So whatever. I’m not making any sense with this. ENOUGH! Hahaha.
Going back to the topic, the card suggests that we take a walk with our dogs and that we let ‘em walk with us. With how the dogs here in our house look and smell like, I don’t think doing that is feasible at the moment. So let’s just use ermmm…other pets as alternatives. We could instead walk with cats, iguanas, goldfish, turtles, ostriches, giraffes, elephants, tigers, toucans, peacocks or beluga whales…basically any animal that you could think of! Haha! But if ever you don’t own any pets at home, I think TEH FRIENDS are good alternatives. After all, pets are considered best friends…and there are no better alternatives to TEH PETS than yer REAL FRIENDS! Bahaha! So yeah, walk with your friends instead. You never know where they might take you, or what new place you can discover with them. Who knows, maybe they could take you to Antarctica, the Bermuda Triangle or somewhere you’ve never been to before. Life is one big adventure we can all enjoy…which means, LET’S ALL GET LOST! And all this we can start with our dogs, er…friends. Haha!
The fifth card may not teach us a great lesson, but it will provide us a nice, simple thing to do instead of like, channeling our energy on something totally unproductive and useless. ‘Coz at the end of it all, we (our dogs/pets/friends and us) will all be winners because we’ll have nothing but FUN, FUN, FUN!
