It’s Friday people. And I’m here yet again to deliver the deed for the week…for the eighth week of the year!
Like wow, I could not believe that we are already down to the eighth! The rabbit’s running really fast, no? I mean like, THIS IS SO FREAKING TWISTED! AND I AM FREAKING OVERREACTING! (I know, right? Haha!)
Errr, enough of that…let’s just proceed with what the card says for the eighth week, and let’s go seal the deed! (Hey, new spiels again! Hope I don’t run out of ‘em. Heheh.)

The card now asks us to give a kind smile to a stranger. A kind smile. Right. It suggests that we flash a KIND smile–not a sinister smile as if we’re trying to threaten the person we’re smiling at; not a “read-between-the-lines” smile that may connote any other meanings–but a clean, genuine and KIND smile. Now I know why the Papemelroti guys added the word “kind” to the deed. That is, for us to give a specific kind of smile, and not be misled by giving any other kinds of smiles. (You on the same channel, people? I hope you do get the point. *ROFLMAO*)
Speaking of smiles, I’m currently wearing a smile that I can’t seem to take off of my face. Just right now, I was informed that my brother, Kuya Ron, and his wife, Ate Lisa, will finally be having…*drum rolls please*… a baby!
Kuya Bon and Ate Owen already has Ian; Ate Richel and Kuya Jobet are expecting a baby boy; and now, Kuya Ron and Ate Lisa will be giving me my third first-degree nephew, or better yet, my first first-degree niece! Oh, and not to mention that I have such cute and wonderful nephews and nieces from my dear cousins. Wow. I’m soooo overwhelmed. It’s going to be lots of fun seeing them together some time in the future. Now I have a reason to REALLY. FREAK. OUT. I’m surrounded by babies, babies, and more babies! Yaaaaaaay!

Well whaddya know? THAT news just made my day…as if the new baby smiled at me from heaven. Haha! Now, I hope you guys also get to make someone else’s day–may it be today, tomorrow, and for the days to come! Like what the card says, let’s flash our kind, toothy grins to some random person. Let’s all give the gift of…not just any kind of smile…but a KIND SMILE! Like this oh:
(Hindi ako nagkulang sa paalala na KIND SMILE ah. Hehehe.)

it is i. i have prowled the nooks of your blog again. keep your eyes peeled (what a gory idiom) for surprises.. XD
okay, about the deed. i was thinking about whether i would smile at you or not.. a realized that albeit our fun friendship and the words of the card “give a kind smile to a STRANGER”.. that you DO deserve one with the following reasoning: Zee is strange.. but A is.. stranger. XD
–” okay, weird joke. anyway, wooohoooo for a new baby!!!
-BABY-
never has uncertainty been this sweet
a handsome knight,
a fair lady,
i will one day meet
protected from the world’s glare
your mother, your father
the family and i
await you here
little one sleep soundly
we love you even
before we’ve met you
our little baby
A, i think i’m spoiling you. but, wow. i’ve never written a poem about a baby before. :] i hope the poem somehow catches an essence of that anticipation for a new family member. :] congrats tito A!
Zaaaaay!!! Wow, as in wow. You never cease to amaze me with your poems that you seemed to have done for a few minutes, without their quality being sacrificed. Thanks to the never-ending high of that brain of yours. I hope the high would never end, as in like SRSLY!!! Heheh.
Yer the greatest, Z! You made my day, and you made me smile without even smiling at me. Hahahaha!
Zoolyen Abellanosa FTW!!!
XD A, i enjoy your reactions. heheh. I don’t think i’ll be able to write poems like this if i wasn’t in your comment box though. the poems i’ve written here were all about the stuff you posted (except the first one) so it’s not that difficult to write it. I was grinning widely too, knowing that i had “made your day” it’s cool. heheh. XD
