Okay, I’m bored. Well I was…not until that fateful Tuesday afternoon, when my friends invited me to go biking. And because of their strong convincing powers, I went with them. I went biking. From that day on, I’ve decided to start making a habit out of it. Like, for at least forty five minutes to an hour a day, I would bike–I would bike my stress out; I would bike my boredom; I would bike for my life– as if I have never biked before.Yes, I biked until my shirt got all wet–that if I’d try to squeeze it, it would almost fill a one-liter bottle. Call me a sweaty pig or anything, ’cause seriously…I sweated gallons. (Did you just think I really sweated gallons? But of course, I’m exaggerating! LOL. And I know you would not be buying that. Haha.
)
A week later, I’ve decided to start changing my eating habits. I mean like, what can I do? The teenage hormones + peers + the fear of developing morbid diseases + having nothing to do + the desire to look good on my graduation photo = a great drive/motivation to LOSE WEIGHT. From then on, I ate a bit less than usual…until I eventually decided to settle on eating five small meals for the whole day–limiting myself to 1800 calories per day.
Oh, and not only that…I did Tae Bo too. I befriended Billy Blanks that same week (…haven’t heard of him yet? Well, google is your friend!). I dedicated forty five minutes of my day doing his cardio routine, which was very very tiring by the way (heck, “very very tiring” is an understatement…but nonetheless, fulfilling). And add to that how I still maintained having my bike routine every morning.
So yeah. I started getting conscious and conscious as each day went by…checking labels, counting the calories that I’ve consumed for the day, drinking lots of water, increasing my physical activity…the usual stuff–for three weeks.
ALAS! I’ve realized that I finally reached my turning point. The fat kid got alarmed. I was awakened! (…well at least I thought I was. Heheh.)
—-Hey, I’ll cut the drama right here…and I’ll proceed with the fun stuff. Gah! I just hate doing narratives. It’s hard to think of how you’ll continue writing something. It’s hard to type thoughts. Duh. LOL.—-
NOW: Because of the lifestyle changes that I recently implemented, I’m so proud to say that I lost TEN WHOPPING POUNDS after what…three weeks of dwelling on my self-consciousness!

Not that losing ten pounds is so big of a deal, no? But this is definitely a great achievement on my part–or should I say, a good start–since healthy weight loss ranges from 2-3 pounds a week…and I did it! But wait, let’s not rejoice here–I still hafta lose 40 more pounds to reach my target (preferable) weight. Once I reach my target weight…well then, we can FINALLY REJOICE! Hahahahaha!
So you guys, please pray for me to keep up with this big journey of mine towards achieving a normal BODY MASS INDEX! Hahahaha. Did that sound too ‘technical’? Well, whatever. Stay tuned, dear readers, for updates on my LONG-OVERDUE AWAKENING! Gotta hit the sack now. I’ll leave you with this thingy (below) for the meantime. Buh-bye.
Tweaked the mini-profile on my sidebar a bit.
What do you think, kiddo-kiddos?
Like it, or hate it?
Well, give me a holla over the comments section of this post!
